Hi Bormes, The Fair went well. It was fairly busy and plenty of people were having a look. Sarah was over the moon that she sold some paintings and myself and Wendy did rather well not only with sales but people asking loads of questions and taking our business cards. I'm going to see someone next week to talk to them about holding a charity fashion show next year, so i'll keep you all informed. Thanks to everyone who took part and showed support.

Yeah, it's good to see so many new entrepreneurs finding ways around the homogenous and frankly boring High St, AnyTown, UKE. Specially in the WE where rents and business rates are so obscenely high that any business that isn't a well-financed franchise is automatically at a disadvantage. More power to you, and please use your growing power of bringing in crowds to persuade the venues to chuck in market-stall lighting as part of the package

Cat, Speak to Jinty tell her I told you to speak to her (I spoke to you early on at the Grosvenor and bought a couple of items from you) she will tell you when the next owner's meeting is and you could ask her to bring it up at the meeting, as a wee suggetsion that perhaps the lane could be used as a venue for a wee market sort of thing on a monthly or maybe fortnightly event, I am sure it would be good for the lane and I am sure Jinty would support you and I know someone else who WILL support your idea too.

That's a great idea. It's time the lane was used as a showcase for something other than places to get pished at vastly inflated prices.
(and the cinema)
