Ships in the night for me and Mr R, yet again. SO busy with the hundreds of gigs in town this month. Here's Mr R tonight: he got in at 4 this morning after doing sound at the late night CC club at the ArtSchool and back on duty at 9am for Roaming Roots at the Concert Hall. Fuxache. We're both on 20 hour days for the foreseeable. The house is a total mess, we're struggling to keep on top of everyday stuff like taking out the bins, doing the shopping/cleaning and all that jazz, but hey. It can wait... We'll either die young (ish) of the pure utter stress or we'll live hale and hearty on account of being in and about what we love to do. Attachments:

looks formidable but if you enjoy doing it its half the battle. Dont kill yourselves though life is too precious It proves beyond doubt you are both very good at your jobs being in such demand. Celtic Connections is ringing a bell in the back of my mind and I have no idea why

A great few days so far, seen so much great music and entertaining our international partners this year, New Zealand who're over in force showcasing their musical talent.
I just saw the most stunning show at the Concert Hall: From Scotland With Love. A live soundtrack by Scottish musician King Creosote and ensemble, accompanying the amazing, evocative film, edited clips from the Scottish Film Archive.
There wasnae a dry eye in the house, 2500 souls rapt and emotional. If you have a spare hour, you will LOVE this from the iplayer, only valid for another week though.
Its like your life flashing in front of you, like going back to your childhood: how we lived, worked, played : every Scot or those of Scottish descent, you MUST see this!
BBC iPlayer, search From Scotland With Love. Wonderful, beautiful, heartbreaking.

I cant answer that I couldnt do their reasons justice Geek one spends his life cleaning viruses and all sorts of nasties out of computers as well as buggering about with the hardware so I trust his judgement. Geek 2 has a Computing degree and works for a very very very large computer company and is on a different plane from us mere mortals so when he say "DONT" I dont. If he told me I would understand about one word in 6. Im sorry I cant go further but I am the original Techno-peasant and wouldnt know if I was relating gibberish but I do trust their advice.
