When news broke that two children and their father had died in a deliberately-set house fire in Helensburgh two summers back, there was a major appeal for information across the Scottish media. Couple of days later, the mother gave a TV interview, appealing for information. At the time, I honestly thought there was just something that didn't sit right, somehow. Today two complete bastards were found guilty of murdering the family due to the father's getting into drugs debt. What the FLYING F*CK, do they think they're in the fecking SOPRANOS or something? Did the mother secretly know where the household income was coming from? Or was she too an innocent 'victim'? I know what I think. Here was me thinking there was a code of honour that these slimebags only hit their target and not their families? It truly beggars belief that these scum would be prepared to kill two young kids for what.......a few quid. I don't want MY tax money paying for their upkeep in jail for the rest of their puff. I'm not up for the death penalty--- but put it this way, feel free, you nasty excuses for humanity, to do away with yourselves by whatever means, in jail. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-23418987

Apparently this family weren't exactly unknown to the polis. As they say in London, the faither was a bit of a face.
Doesn't mitigate in the slightest the gravity of their deaths but if you run with those types, then this sort of thing could be visited upon you.
Just like the folks round the corner from us, who had their motor home blown up which took their hoose with it. All for wanting to take your taxi plate elsewhere. Alas they folks knew who they were working for...................

Alas they folks knew who they were working for................... Exactly right, Nota. Two young kids died because their father was a no-mark smalltime drugs dealer. You mix with scumbags, you take that risk and for what, a few quid? But how stupid and reckless do you have to be to put your children in the firing line just on account of making a few bob? Really? And how stupid and fecking mental do you have to be to petrol bomb a family's home? Fecking knuckledraggers. Angela Sharkey (the matriarch who survived the fire, oddly) knew FINE WELL her husband was a dealer as he'd already been jailed for it in the past, and she'd also have known her niece was involved as well. Yet she had the GALL to give it 'emotional appeal' on the telly with a wee crocodile tear or three? Hell mend her. She clearly knew what was going on but failed to protect her own kids------or anyone else's come to that. What a charming specimen of humanity she is.

No doubt it won't be long before she gets to sell her story to the "news"papers, or write a book, or appear on telly programmes.

You know what? I actually think "It" will have the sheer gall to give it profiteering.
Feck though, with parents like thon, those kids had no chance from day one.
How truly awful that your own parents don't love you enough to spare you the consequences of their actions.
Some days I just despair.

The two murderous bstrds just got life sentences today, minimum 29 years in jail. Oh great. What's that gonna cost us, then, eh? It appals me that these amoebae get taken care of, fed, kept warm etc while pensioners who've put in 35+ years of hard graft are supposed to exist on what, £100 a week? I'm not a violent woman but yeah, I secretly hope this feral pair get their heads kicked in, over and over, for killing two innocent children whose only 'crime' was being born to such awful, feckless parents

So, we hear that the two murdering amoebae that set fire to a house, killing the drug-dealer father and his daughter (8) and son (21) have the bloody nerve to appeal against their long sentences, aided and abetted by that fabulous icon of democracy, Donald Findlay QC, who's earning a fortune (in legal aid, no doubt) for taking issue on a couple of 'legal' process points. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-28855173How the FECK did we get to this? A drug-dealer father, a mother that knew all about it, but failed to protect two kids that lost their life, horribly, and unprotected by their shit parents? These two guys need to stay locked away for the full duration, IMO. Frankly I'd put them away for the rest of their natural lives. You murder innocent children for the sins of their father-- you pay the price. We don't want your like on our streets.
