[glow=red,2,300] Your mission is to proceed up the Nung River in a Navy patrol boat. Pick up Colonel Kurtz's path at Nu Mung Ba, follow it and learn what you can along the way. And can you also get us a packet of Hobnobs?[/glow]

Yesterday was just too soon, wasn't it--- but I think we're all over it by today, yeah Sir Norman Wisdom dies after hilarious fall Comedy legend passed away after falling through roof onto conveyor belt, then ladder, through several sheets of glass and finally getting his coat hooked on a moving lorry.

I know there was a lot of comment and a lot of complaints about the cost of security for the visit of the Pope. I do understand that people in these hard times feel that public money should not have been spent on the visit and especially the security, BUT
Surely it is a small price to pay for the kids to be safe ?!!

Is "Dobber" now part of UK vocab??? Our Kultur is spreading BTW why do certain people have multiple blue stars and us peasants only one yellow ? Is it discrimination??? Um. I think the only one with multiple stars is me, and I have no idea how to do anything about it... Is it givin ye sleepless nights? 'Dobber'. Dobber was a word I first heard on wir beloved Chwein the Fat on the telly. Great word - I used it all the time. And then somebody from furth of the river tellt me what it actually means in Glasgow....

Don't Dob me in ! - Heard that from a young age in Devon. Waaaay Awaaaay from Gl*sgowshire !
Meanwhile....
A woman is told sahe has 24 hours to live by the Doctor.
She tells her husband & asks if they can make love one last time, crying and upset he agrees & they have mind blowing passion. After about 12 hours she asks again and he duly obliges, this time improving on the last time. 4 hrs to go and she begs for one last session and he relies, "F*k off, I'm not being funny, but I've got to get up in the morning, you haven't ! "

Yesterday (my time) was the 10th day of the 10th month of the 10th year. Extremely lucky in chinese culture.
I saw in the papers that Mackay (qld) race meeting was having 10 races instead of the normal 8 so I thought I would have a go.
Looking through the field I saw horse 10 was called "best Friend", which has 10 letters, at odds of 10:1. I thought gees what portents cant go wrong so I put $10 on it to win
The bugger came in 10th
