I can barely contain masel! Just 18 hours to go to this, in Glasgow at the Royal Concert Hall.. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ru9bHVqGBPEMy mum's guest of honour. She sat uncomplainingly thru the various 'shows' I put on in our living room as a wean, and has indulged my passion ever since and never ever ONCE told me to 'get a real job'. ;D ;D ;D

Well, bejasus, what a fine night out that was. ;D ;D ;D Twas utterly thrilling. Just blown away by the talent of this orchestra but even more being reminded of such great writer favourites of my own (Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Lerner and Loewe) If you get a chance to see this production live, PLEASE take it. It's good for the soul...

Hah, there was me thinking I was the youngest at 57! ;D Average age looked to be 65+, loads of 80+ folks having the time of their life, all hale and hearty like (I'll no hear a bad word about the Sunday Post btw, it's a great wee comic!)
