The press reports are getting increasingly odd tonight. State that the wee boy 'MAY' have been wearing X jacket, X shoes, whatever. You'd conclude from that, those items are also missing from the home.
Sure, some 3 year olds might be capable of dressing themselves and getting out of at least two security doors unseen and unheard by several others in the family. Not impossible-- but just a bit unlikely?
Something's very not right here. As ever, there's aye more to it than we're being told.
SOMEBODY KNOWS.

Strangely the press and Police are saying they are at the moment NOT thinking it is a criminal offence? Does that mean the child has gone out before. Can he open a door. Or was the door not locked. Or are they trying to suggest to their suspect that he is not actually wanted by the Police as he is a family member and they do not want the wee fellow harmed by an ex or someone close to her?? As Rolo says. STRANGE!!

I suspect they've got a better handle on it than we're being allowed to know. I hope the wee boy's found safe and well. Tiny wee scrap of humanity.

Mikaeel's body was found in Kirkcaldy, at the home he and his mother, brothers and sisters, lived in till 18 months ago. It belongs to her sister, apparently. The mother's been *detained* but no charges thus far. It's hard to imagine what the story is and sure, nobody should be jumping to any conclusions. That poor wee lamb, though.

So, she's been charged with murder today, I think that came as a surprise to many who probably figured neglect, horrible accident or illness covered up, or accessory or something far lesser than this. It's only human nature to speculate in cases like this and wonder WTF went on. There's something very strange about this case and has been from the first. Wee boy's lost his life, his brothers and sisters lost their wee one, and now their mother on a murder charge. Such suffering .

Charging someone and getting their initial court appearance over with actually gives the accused a lot of rights she would not have otherwise. It also gives the authorities the chance to keep digging and investigating, in much extended time limits. They obviously had enough evidence to allw a murder charge right at the outset. But it could easily be culpable homicide, diminished responsibility or whatever. There's much more of this to come out in the wash.........

I think so, Nota.
One of the redtops has stated the family was *well-known* to social services but stop short of any evidence of that. Yet the vast majority of neighbours, friends, fellow parents in the area seem to have all opined that all five children were well looked-after, cheerful, happy and apparently no issues, except for one report from a neeb that mentioned one of the fathers coming to collect his kids for the day and finding the mother had stayed out all night and left them alone. (which is an unconfirmed rumour).
The mother worked her own business as a beauty therapist and came from what to all intents and purposes appears to be a respectable professional family.
Three kids to one dad (so obviously married with intent towards stablility but since divorced) then twins to another father. Five kids under the age of 10, the mother only 33 now.
I can't begin to imagine how tough that must be, specially if you're trying to work fulltime as she apparently has, rather than just cave in and live off benefits.
There's more to this I'm sure of it.
