Sorry to hear Walter Morris, who originally opened the Cul de Sac in Ashton Lane has passed away. I have know and liked Walter since way back then and he has fought a very hard fight, very, very bravely for many, many years now, sadly lost the fight now. He was a very friendly happy caring family man and the West End will miss his cheery smile.

Sorry to hear that. I used to work for Walter in another reality. A lovely gentle man.

Hi, Stuarty, glad you are here. Sorry about Walter he had just sold the Cul de Sac and the building where De Courcy Arcade is to S.King. Probably know you if you worked for Walter, Rolo will probably know you too. Glad you joined.

Hello Bormes and Stuarty,
I'm sorry, I missed your posts here on the thread, just catching up on them now.
I knew Walter since the 80s, Culdy days-- plus his artist management. And of course from our all time favourite SubClub. And a guy about the neighbourhood.
As you say Bormes, he'd been in ill-health for some time. Yet was always cheerful and friendly despite the challenges he was facing.
One of the good guys, I liked him very much.
Respect.
