I didnt realise that this Forum was so widely read!
I mentioned on another thread, no Idea which one, that my grand-kids had been born in Mona Vale Hospital and showed a pic of it it an idyllic setting beside the sea.
Wellll
Now a Southern Wright Whale has just arrived to give birth just off beach from the hospital.
I dont think this is just a coincidence, do you?

Whale gave birth last night. Mona Vale hospital has not confirmed they gave help.
Mum ans Bub explored Sydney Harbour today.

Just sitting out on patio this morning enjoying winter sun. Bit annoying for a wannabe traveller with clipped wings as the airport is using runway 34L for its long haul flights and tracking them North over us. (they vary flight paths to spread the noise) In the last half hour we have QF (QANTAS) 85 bound to J0'burg and QF 107 LAX . I sit here wishing.

You probably saw this on tv A guy slipped between platform and train at Stirling Station (WA) and got his leg trapped. They got all the passengers off the train and by "people power" pushed it over to try and free the guy. It worked.
