www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-28359306So we're giving it all health and safety, equalities and all that shit, uber-PC or what? Are we supposed to feel sympathy for a 78 year old convicted rapist who became ill in jail? Are we supposed to feel sorry for him because his 'rights' have supposedly been denied? This sorry excuse for a man denied the rights of several young girls to go about their lives in safety and without being violently raped. He was prepared to treat his fellow humans so callously, so I really REALLY doubt we should be feeling any compassion what-so-fecking-ever towards him. You and I paid for his medical treatment and I'm betting here and now it cost us more than any help and assistance given to his victims. The world's better off without him and those like him. Goes around, comes around.

Yeah, unlike me, I agree, Bormes I guess I am feeling a little tired, grumpy and impatient. Ten full-on 18 hour days in a field can get to a person and that's just in Civvy Street.. Not so much the hours, just some of the behaviour at T that makes you wonder about some peoples' mentality sometimes. I won't go into too much detail but of the 85000 on the campsite, a tiny minority behaved worse than animals do and some of the behaviour is criminal. Fortunately the senior management have young peoples' welfare at heart but its a bloody slog sometimes, it really is, keeping everyone safe and rooting out the criminal element. Still. Nobody died or came to any great harm. For which we're eternally grateful. Police Scotland, Scottish Ambulance, St Andrews First Aid, the Red Cross and the Fireys do the most amazing job, along with our own Welfare teams. As for our rapist's complaints about his treatment in jail, I stand by every word I said. Goes around, comes around...
