Fired out tonight for Dave Arcari's gig at this brand new (old) venue earlier. Converted church at Kelvinbridge, Great Western at Park Rd, very much in the manner of Cottier's except warmer! Charmingly simple, looks like it's been converted on a shoestring, pretty basic makeshift bar and box office, but comfy seating, nice folks running it and generally a good vibe about the place. Great to have a small (150?) capacity live music venue in the WE. I'll definitely be back. And Dave was just great. It's blues, but not as we know it...and all the better for that P.S. Sir Hank, you'd have loved this. Dave plays National guitars, things of utter beauty and lordy, how fantastic they sound! Attachments:
