There was a terrible incident hereabouts the other night, as mentioned on another thread. Clearly, to all of us in the neighborhood, there was a lot of chaos going on, and traffic diverted from main roads so's the emergency services could attend to the difficult task in hand. Now, I have encountered many many folks in my 58 years on this planet and I take folks as I find them. I can count on two hands the ones I've instinctively disliked from the off. My next door neighbour is one of those few. His habit of parking his salesman 3 series at 90 degrees to the pavement (while everyone else parallel parks) caused a needless, huge traffic jam. Result= poor bstrd of a bus driver doing 20 or 30 manoeuvres to try and get past with his busful of delayed passengers, clearly fearful of getting his ass sued off should he scratch the offending car. and a whole load of folks stuck in their cars in each direction as a result of stuck bus. I fired outside and SAW said neighbour standing at his window watching the chaos but apparently couldn't be ARSED to come out and move his car. I'd like to believe Karma will take care of this hideous entitled 'person' but sadly, it probably won't.

Could you not ask him to move it? It seems like he may be deliberately causing problems? If he is you can call old Bill. We had someone come down our private lane and park accross my garage doors as they were going on holiday and it seemed out of the way and did not notice the double doors!! Someone put a rope onto it and dragged it out of the lane with a Landrover and abandoned it in the middle of Saltoun Street! Must have been because the Police said it was a private lane so they could not have it moved!! Some people are just twunts rolo dear.

Quite a sense of entitlement going on with him. Has a very high opinion of himself, some might say mistakenly. Bit of a bully boy. I once politely offered him a spare black bin bag to take the cuttings from his grass (that he'd sneakily dumped on the pavement outside for someone else to clear up) to the dump. He went crazy, said I was an interfering busybody that needed to get a life. I'd only take him on if I had Mr R and my wonderful upstairs neeb (proper men!) standing right by me, I'm not daft!

Merr than wan wae tae skin a cat.................. Does he drink? After the 5th of Dec the drink driving limit is reduced, might be worthwhile pointing that out to local constabulary person - anonymously of course, either directly or via crimestoppers

Nah, I'm not bothered enough to resort to that kinda tactic, he's just an annoying wee twunt, Nota. Pretends he's a hotshot thrusting know-all ambitious business-type but in reality he only sells pensions. Can only imagine how many poor sods he's ripped off to buy his flat next door He couldn't be arsed moving his car that night, which says it all really. If I'd had the presence of mind I'da suggested to the driver that the passengers all got off the stuck bus and person-handled his stupid car out the way. But he's definitely the type that'd sue everyone's arses off. Worst of it, really, is, he obviously knew there was strife going on but did nowt to help. Like Bormes says, some folks are just, you know....
