What a fantastic game that was, Oz! I don't think I've ever seen Scotland play like that in 45 years of watching 'em....edge of the seat stuff! Some debate overnight about that final penalty awarded to Australia, and World Rugby just said this: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/34576756Whatever, good luck to Aus for the rest of the tourney. This season's Six Nations is looking interesting if Scotland retain this kind of form---I'll be getting my Murrayfield tickets early doors!

It was great game neither team deserved to lose. . Scotland played a blinder!!!!! Im just glad it we scraped home
Jouberts decision may or may not have been wrong but he made it in good faith so we have to abide by it . He wasnt the first and certainly wont be the last ref to make a mistake. Having said thta wasnt Foley's kick fantastic specially after he had missed 3 times before?
Wallabies captain Stephen Moore was full of praise for his opponents' brave efforts after the game.
Now for the Argies
I would really love to see a Oz/Kiwi final preferably at Murrayfield ... that would be something.
While in Scotland every little town has its soccer goal posts in NZ every little town has its rugby posts. As some one once remarked rugby isnt a religion in NZ ... Its much more important.

My preference would have been Scotland and anyone, however, since we live in reality, my preference is for Oz and NZ!!!!

I'll be honest, Oz. All Scotland was willing Bernard Foley to miss the kick. Whatever the rights and wrongs of Joubert's decision, Foley had to take an awkward kick and having missed a few already, what pressure he must have been under. He's no Greig Laidlaw but he'll be well relieved his fourth attempt was good... I'd love to see an AUS/NZ final. Just pray you don't get Joubert as ref....did you see the way he sprinted off the pitch at 100MPH after his (wrong) decision? Check out his Twitter feed, it's quite illuminating. Guy comes across as highly self-promoting, like he's some celebrity referee. Bit strange. Anyway. Good luck Wallabies! We'll be supporting youse! And good luck All Blacks, we'll be supporting youse an all.

Oh lordy, if Aus get through our loyalties are gonna be well tried in the final! Me too but if Oz gets thru to final we have won be very happy with either Oz or Kiwis winning. Of course I would like to see Oz winning but I would also like to see the All Blacks winning back to back championships

well thats us through to final. I'm just glad we didnt play the 'Boks in the semis. The final will be some game with both teams in top form. Scotland should be very proud of their narrow loss in the quarters. They played magnificently to come so close to winning against one of the two best teams in the world! I will be more concise next week .

Thats one match I would hate to predict the winner. Both nations have won the cup twice. Just glad both teams are in final.
Brain wandering off again prob more interest to B.
Years ago when our troops , both Oz & Kiwi went into East Timor to enforce Independence vote Oz won both the Bledisloe Cup (annual rugby competition between Oz & NZ ) and World Rugby cup. The Oz general (now Governor General) Peter Cosgrove thought it would be a nice gesture to send the cups over to East Timor to let the troops see them so they were sent over much to the delight of the Digs.
A few years later Peter Cosgrove retired and as is normal on these occasions people said all sorts of nice things about him (deserved) Among the accolades was a video speech from the head of the Kiwi army who was most complimentary. On the book case clearly displayed behind the Kiwi general and at head height so they couldnt be missed were both the Bledisloe Cup and the Rugby World cup.
A beautiful and typical piece of inter-nation one-upmanship much appreciated by all and in particular Peter Cosgrove.

From the Australian Captain
From News.com.au
Thats pretty much the attitude here. As we were beaten we were glad it was the All Blacks and no one else
PS What ya think of Sonny Bill Williams giving medal to a kid??? That is something that kid will never ever forget
The ALL BLACKS are in a class of their own
