Lovely 'photos, well done. Thanks, but I think nature and wir illustrious Victorian forebears take the credit.... I don't like 99.999999% of modern technology because I don't see any of it as necessary. But I do like the fact that digital cams - with video - are now so prevalent. I like taking photies, and my god what a hassle it all used to be. Much easier now. And cheaper!

The light that day was quite, quite wonderful, and I was able to just point and snap... even though my cam is packed wi features I haven't a clue how to use and don't understand what they are and didnae have a clue what I was doin. Roamin in (nearly) the gloamin, on the bonny drumlin high

Westie, I am not good enough to do it from memory so I have maybe half a dozen or so 'photos of what I decide to paint and the 'photos help me, then I add artist's leeway (usually 'cause I feel I've made a mistake) It is enjoyment for me.
If you wish to see my paintings let me know, you are very welcome to see them.

Roamin in (nearly) the gloamin, on the bonny drumlin high I live on another drumlin a mile or so up the road from KG, in a very old part of the WE, and one of the best things about autumn is when the leaves fall and you can actually get a keek at the architecture that's been hidden all summer. Loads of remedial stonework going on in this neighbourhood at the minute, and it's stunning (if expensive ) to see the buildings looking as pristine as when they were built back in 1880.
