Oz I'm pretty sure that is your Regiment lads using Perenties. The 6x6 versions, as I said they have a very good name. Yeah thats the Australian SAS on patrol in Iraq looking for Lekis. They are built in Australia Their camoflage is different from Brits & US

Whut benefits dae ra extra 2 driven wheels give, dae any of ra rear wheels steer tae? Gives them a greater load carrying ability, hence greater range. Also gives greater traction on loose surfaces. The rear wheels dont steer. They were designed for long range patrols here ie in arid country over long distances. They were ideal for advance scoutingand patrolling in Iraq. BTW a Perentie, which these trucks are named after, is a large Australian lizard

I didnt know about that one Nota, seems a pity it was scrubbed We use this one a bushmaster. a 3 tonner and troop transport, mine resistant Also sold to Dutch, Brits and Americans
