Yes. Clearly Steve doesn't actually understand that "Do whatever you fucking well want" is not exactly an endorsement of his freedom...  Somehow (call me psychic) I get the feeling that Steve spends more time lavishing care and attention on his motorbicycle than he does his wife. Indeed, perhaps he neglects his share of life's humdrum jobs, expecting them to be done by his slave..errr I mean, wife. Who's likely working, taking care of kids AND both her and his extended family. And very probably out-earning him and putting money aside for life's necessities. Meanwhile, Steve's off on his bike, wind in his hair, giving it Easy Rider fantasy, and giving it 'Hard Done By'. He's probably spent the budget for kids shoes/electricity bill/mortgage money on keeping up his hobby. Am I wrong? LOL! |
