Ms Rolo's 3rd year finishes in a couple of weeks, so she's taken a job in (shriek!) an Ashton Lane establishment to bolster her earnings over the spring and summer. Coping with all those 'weekend millionaires'---on her first night one rather rude 'lady' harangued her for taking 10 mins to make 8 cocktails, ffs! Her modelling jobs've been great lately: two Sunday Herald shoots last month, a lucrative runway show last week, plus she's the 'face of a new yarn company from Scotland & shot their autumn catalogue earlier. But while she's on a roll, she's not daft enough to rely on it, thank eff. I'm dead pleased she's working her way and not amassing huge student debt, though. Christ, the average debt now over an hons degree's something like £30-40K. Shocking. Anyways, she's working evenings in Not Wur Chip so you can imagine, Bormes, who she's working for There's a grand irony in the fact that " you know who" is helping me/us all support her through uni!

Good tae hear the wean is getting modelling jobs in Scotland though, saves all the crap associated wae travelling, unless of course its to far off exotic places like Tahiti or such.

Nope, Nota, not at Glasgow, no lectures, labs or tutorials after March, on HonsPsych anyway, just exam prep time. (It'll be different for the medics/vets and possibly engineers I guess...) Re travelling, the full time students on the agency books tell em they're unavailable most of the time cos they're committed to uni studies. Those jobs tend to go to 'career models' instead. It's a win-win, really. Suggest we convene a spring swally--drop in on the wean, order up ridiculous drinks no-one's ever heard of them fire back to wur ever-reliable Chip?

Hoping to get part time job at Sea-World adjacent to campus Well I suppose if you want to be a marine biologist - that's the place to be, all that sun, lovely seas and an abundance of stuff in the seas - oh the struggle of it all must be a real test - or otherwise she could have came and studied here - plenty of marine biology to be studied without ever leaving the streets its that wet unfortunately it made be a tad or two degrees C below what she's used to
