So our young pal, the Ozzie backpacker, worked the last eight months to save up for his trip over to T, while also studying at Sydney Uni. A arrived last Thursday after four flights to get here, some long winded route via Abu Dhabi and Dublin. Bless. He pretty much has a key to the door now. He also left his mud-caked Dunlop wellies which've now been jetwashed and packed in the hall cupboard for his next visit. On Tuesday, me and Mr R took a rare day off and fired up to Loch Lomond. Here we are at Luss. I think he fell in love with Scotland--- even more than he already is. Attachments:

Yeah, Mr R's on the Edinburgh Castle concerts this week and next, just before the Tattoo starts. Lovely Lionel Ritchie on Wednesday, after his Glastonbury triumph! Mr R says the Castle is mental busy with even more tourists than usual, making set up for the gigs a wee tad tricky..
Great band, maybe they'll be at the Worlds again if they're coming over for Edinburgh?
I'll check, cos the parade comes right by my office in Merchant City. If so I'll send you a pic!
