Sky sold to BT half the games so now if you want to watch football you need to buy the BT package as well so SKY still get their rather large cut! TWUNTS.

Thanks but Sky's my idea of Hell. Fairy nuff if you're a sports fan though, terrestrial telly's failing on that score (see what I did there?) Don't watch much telly at all these days. The odd docu, lots of BBC 4 Music shows, and of course the odd politics show which passes for comedy better than most comedies these days we stopped the sports package when wee nota moved oot........... but with still 200+ channels you can easily while away an evening flicking through complete shite - although some gems are occasionally thrown up Streets Of San Francisco with Karl Malden and a young michael douglas Star Trek ( original series digitally remastered) Wheeler Dealers - car restoration programme Chasing Classic Cars - US program about classic cars - high end ones various documentaries on how stuff works - like big ships ( Mighty Ships) including an OZ cattle carrying ship that goes between middle east and OZ We cant get Freeview here ( Freesat is possible) we dont get DAB radio either, mobile phone reception is pish and so is normal radio -even analogu etelly was like watching a blizzard and theres no cable either

ITV3 does reruns of old series, but mainly the UK ones like Upstairs Downstairs (which for some reason I still love...) plus Taggart, Rebus, Prime Suspect, Cracker and The Vice. Personally one rerun from US I'd watch would be Streets of San Fran. But wait! definitely Hill St Blues an all.. And The Rockford Files! And what was that great one with Ed Asner as the newspaper editor, maybe Peony will remember? Oh, I'm off on one now...Cagney and Lacey, YAY! I have Seinfeld, Larry Sanders and Curb Your Enthusiasm in box sets: just as well cos they're not repeated here...
