Gerry Adams arrested tonight in connection with the murder of a young mother years ago. Not before time I would think. His brother the paedo has been jailed, if he is found guilty I wonder if they will share cells?? I wish.

Hopefully justice will be done, maybe also he'll now be big enough to admit he was a member, if not a leading light in the provisional IRA.

I imagine it's aye going to be the defence that 'a bad boy done it and ran away.."
Make no mistake, in the Irish conflict, there are those who refuse to publically accept the part they played in motivating others to horrendous crimes, while stopping short of actually shooting their victims brains out.
That goes for both sides, IMHO.
Freedom fighter=terrorist? I don't give a flying fuck.
Anyone--yes anyone--that kills others in the pursuit of political beliefs is insane and totally lost to the world, say I.
<and can I just say, I've known the absolute and utter terror of being on the wrong end of a carbomb in NI. I don't know for sure who planted it, but I despise them with every fibre of my being.>

If he personally did not do the deed he as the one in charge and senior member of the group known as unknowns, he would have to sanction the kill. I have always disliked his lack of honesty regarding his factual membership.

You'd hope the robust process of law will progress this case, Bormes. Are you confident of that, given the many 'mistakes' made in the past? I'm not sure I am, but perhaps things have changed.... We should probably remember that truly hideous crimes have been committed by both *sides* in the Irish conflict. The question is did the respective 'leaders' know what their *comrades* were up to or not (I know what I think about that...) pee ess; latest pm this tonight via BBC, that upholder of democracy that's not tainted IN ANY WAY, no sirree bob. Can anyone here tell me just HOW we've allowed our media to dictate policy? Anyone? www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-27244878
