Oh gawd, no. Hate it, hate it, hate it. Blot on the landscape... cold and jaggy, all it says to me is go away. Even looking at it gies me heartburn. Now here's what I call a museum! Ye cannae whack the Victorians.

Oh yes, very nice, that'll do as well. And of course, oor ain lovely Mitchell Library: Proportions, folks, it's all about the proportions. The eye craves them. That awfy looking thing in Bilbao doesn't have any.

You are right . Its the Australian War Memorial in Canberra. It is at the end of a long Avenue down to Lake Burleigh Griffin. On the other side of lake is parliament house. On leaving Parliament nhouse your eye is drawn to War Mermorial about a mile away War memorial is in foreground. Parliament house is in on other side of lake with the flagpole.
