A friend sent me this link to a fun song and video. Older Ladies
One problem I have is that I have fits of getting my own age wrong. I spent most of the year when I was 37 thinking I was 38, and I have just done the same thing with 52 and 53. And that led to my sending my brother a birthday card last year congratulating him on being 50, when he was only 49. At least he lives far enough away not to hit me.

Luved it xx
Well I keep my age in forefront of memory. When asked age I say a tad over 60. Its been ingrained into my memory as I have been saying it for over 10 years.
BTW Its my grandson's 21st today... Mrs Oz reminded me

BTW Its my grandson's 21st today... Mrs Oz reminded me Hahah, where would you be without Mrs. Oz? I have noticed that there seems to be a thing for women in a family, or wife specifically, to be the ones who remember dates of birthdays, weeding anniversaries of relatives and so on. I always thought that was a case of husband just dumping them with that job, but it might be an actual thing. If grandson's birthday, for which I send good wishes in retrospect, is 14th July, has he considered moving to France? Think of all the big fireworks and other fuss to have every year on birthday!

Think of all the big fireworks and other fuss to have every year on birthday! So true, Celyn, so true. When my family became joined with Mr Rolo's some 28 years ago, I used to jot down every extended family member's various birthdays, weeding anniversaries, you name it and tried to do the right thing by remembering all such esteemed occasions. You know what, I quit trying to keep up with it all many years ago. We have a pact that we take care of our own family's birthday cards etc and I gave up feeling bad a long time ago, if he 'forgets' anyone on his side of the family. Yes, I am truly that evil If I were a lady of leisure perhaps it would be different I could spend my days trawling the West End gift shops before and after *lunch with the girls* for quirky little cards and spend a ridiculous proportion of my conscious hours in the Post Office... F&ck that, says Rolo (58, I think?)
