What a bloody laugh this week: earnest commentators giving it dire warnings about potential blindness due to today's solar eclipse Rentacrowd *experts* advising folks NOT to look directly at the sun. In the West of Scotland. In March. Guess what, it all went completely unnoticed hereabouts despite us all staring vainly at the sky. The usual dreich, uber-grey morning, completely the same as most this time of year. Oddly though, I did notice a helluva lot of insane barking from the neeborhood dogs, that one in the mews went crazy for an hour or so. Weird.

Frae the wan who sounde well rehearsed by ra teachers though e wee boy who said he wanted to b an ice coley player tae the I thur wee boy who said he wisnae all that botched an couldnae care less...........hilarious stuff. Some adults frae Lerwick sounding incredibly over enthusiastic, saying it wiz wonderful and a once in a lifetime thing, well wance since 1999 anyways
