I am most impressed with the female "Grizzlies" as referred to, when they took on political opponents and have beaten them. These ladies who all seem to be anti Obama, not because of colour but because they do not wish bigger Government nor do they wish less freedoms. We in the UK are in the same wars, yet our Govt., wish to curtail our freedoms. (both large parties) Good luck to them, I wish them well, we could do with them here.

Unforchoonately they seem tae be as thick as shit on some issues, Sarah palin huzra IQ of a rockin horse, another whose name escapes me didn't know that the constitution seperated church from state, some even belive that Obama is moslem and isnt American The worst part though is that they appear to think that America should be a christian fundamentalist country (much as they oppose moslem fundamentalist countries duh)

Seems to me, wanting LESS Government and more FREEDOM are good ideas, as you say Nota some of them are perhaps not the most intelligent, however consider our lot, now a Lord, John (ira) Reid, Mellis (Chelsea supporter) and one of the most ignorant human beings I have ever met, Galbraith, from Hillhead !! Anyone of these women have more balls than that little triumverate have together. Those are really the two best points made by the Ladies. It's easy to denigrate Americans from a supposed superior position, funnyb. However we would all be speaking German if it was not for them, so when we wear our Poppies (if you do) we should remember that.

It's sort of scarey about the tea party. A lot of the people who support them seem to just be sick and tired of the same old stuff day in and day out.
Obama has failed miserably in one sense: he hasn't communicated much with his constituency. No one really knows much about the health care plan, this election we just had was a huge mandate for Obama. He needs to pay attention to what he's doing and he needs to talk to people. He compaigned as a compassion person anxious to change things.
Now that he is in the White House, he seems to be just sort of disengaged (except with other countries. He had control of the house and the senate and still couldn't get too much done. He needs to talk to people and quite making speeches.
Christine O'Donnell ran as a republican for the senate and lost by 17 percent. She was miserable, Sarah Palin likewise. However they do represent a huge sentiment for the "good old days", "family values", etc. It is pretty sad here, nothing seems to work right, nothing seems thrive, and no one seems to care in Washington DC.
Check out Rick Perry who was reelected governor of Texas. He has been groomed by Ken Rover (may he spontaneously explode) and sounds literally like Dubya. Freaky.

That appears to be it in a nutshell.
We have Hilary out here at the moment. She seems one smart cookie.
BTW John Keys (NZ PM) in a slip of tongue referred to her as President.

Where were these right wing bampots when their small Government Republicans were running their country into the ground, having to nationalise their banking system and their automotive sector? Strange people.

You could say that about both sides I agree on that. Small Govt., has not been the case since before the 1st World War. Government just has gotten bigger and bigger, don't confuse wanting a smaller, less intrusive Government with stupidity or right wing or left wing fanaticism. When the "Great Bliar" came to power with his HUGE mandate in the UK he PROMISED more freedom and smaller Government. Some promise.

Well if we had lost the war because USA did not come and save us, Germany would be running Europe. The comment was really suggesting that small Govt. and freedom is a good idea. These people are advocating that, which I consider as good for us all. I have no idea why you don't wear a poppy, you live in a country that you can still choose most things, unlike of course some countries in the world.

Your uncle Joe would Not have turned the nazi's (he was their friend, did you forget?) WITHOUT help from the USA and the UK, my uncle served on the Murmansk convoys to help arm the USSR, without our help he would have been run over. Beating Rommel in Africa, as Monty had twice as many personnel was a start, but without the USSR being in the position they were because of USA and us, we had a breathing space, now that is not rubbish, we could never have invaded Europe without USA, so the rest of EU would have been still German until they finished off the USSR, then they would have invaded us. Did you not know just before USSR came into the conflict the Germans were almost ready to invade us after Dunkirk. Honestly ANYONE who thinks we could have beaten the Germans without the USA is not learning their history properly. You talk like Sam in your rush to personalise your insults, as I have often said, I wish these interesting forums were not anonymous, there are so many key board warriors out there. If we all had to put our names and details on before posting I think there would be much more civility, though the views could still be as different and good.
