ROFLMAO POP star Justin Bieber may have been on his mum's anti-anxiety medication when he was arrested for drag racing, driving under the influence and resisting arrest in Florida. Bieber was arrested after drag racing on a Miami Beach street in a yellow Lamborghini and failing a sobriety test, before resisting arrest and going on a foul-mouth tirade at police. The teen star admitted to cops that he was under the influence of marijuana, alcohol and prescription medication, police said. News.com.au

It was a non-violent resistance to arrest, apparently a misdemeanor. Too young, too much money, and too much adoration. I hope he comes through ok. I just can't buy his gangsta' attitude, though. He is too white and too Canadian- everyone knows that Canadians are nice!

Ah, OK, the thread got serious. Fair dos. So Justin does a Miley. Growing up in public, their every move papped, every mistake magnified.
None of this is new. Child stars rarely get through unscathed.
From Mickey Rooney, Elizabeth Taylor, Shirley Temple, Michael Jackson to McCauley Culkin via Lindsay Lohan and Zac Efron, it's only a matter of degree.
I get 100% why they go off the rails at times.
Little Leo Dicaprio's defied the odds so far. And Little Kylie. Apart from them two I'm struggling to name child stars unscathed. Anyone?

Not a young kid but Paul Hogan. He is still the same guy
A few years ago he bought a house with a few acres up the coast. We generally respect "stars" privacy and leave them alone however one of the "Current Affairs" programmes sent a helicopter up spying on him. They complained bitterly afterwards that someone had shot at them.
An opposition programme then sent a crew to interview Paul Hogan outside his house. He vehemently denied any one would ever fire at a helicopter the whole idea was abhorrent to him and he was appalled that anyone would make such an accusation. He was most indignant and irate sounded really angry !!
All the time he was being interviewed we could see in the background his 2 sons patrolling the grounds staring intently at the sky with rifles at the ready.
Thats Hoges!!!

I actually wasn't that serious. I still remember Craig Ferguson's advice to give Britney a break, AND it seems right after that she seemed to get a handle on things.
I always hope that these young uns get through with their abilities unimpaired and their selves whole.

I just heard this afternoon he's bringing out a band from Scotland that I've been banging on about for ages now. Fortunately they're in their late 20s with Glaswegian heads totally screwed on. More on that, when I know the February date, P btw, Nota, surprised you never had the late Lena Zavaroni on your list. Yet another casualty of *fame*, too much, too soon. Here's a link to a recent interview with Nicky Benedetti, it kind of sums the whole thing up. www.dailyrecord.co.uk/entertainment/celebrity-interviews/scots-violinist-nicola-benedetti-reveals-1724794

If you ever is it Rothesay, you'll see the zavaronis everywhere. They all think they're singers, especially lena's aunt margaret, god is she awful, deep voice and like wan of those Gaelic singers, keeps winking at folk and nodding to them whilst chanting. They are all still trying to live aff of Lena tae apparently...............

Same Billy Connolly that refuses to have anything to do with Scottish Independence. He who supported Bliar and Lamont !! He who does not pay his tax here?
