Civil disobedience, I LIKE it! Don't start me on dog poo, though, Gilly Some persistent (feck you lot) offenders around here too A close neighbour down the road gets apoplectic with rage (a dog owner himself, I must add) and has his 'eye' on a few residents, one in particular. The other day he posted this on Twitter (now on his gate) and I'm about to adopt his method chez moi. Attachments:

I too have a dog and I can't remember the last time I forgot to take a poobag with us, I see people particularly with WEE dogs walking away from their responsibility maybe thinking its a tiny poo no one will notice!!!! I confess to asking politely for them to remove the offending poo and I offer them a couple of free poo bags. I so far have only had polite help and slightly embarrassed replies that they forgot their bags, I think they have all over the years said the same thing!!

My neeb down the road alerted me to one local culprit, Bormes. Just the other day I was rushing out when I spotted her with her two (wee but obese) dogs who were 'sitting' right outside my gate. I stopped and made sure she saw me giving her the evil eye So she gives it nonchalant, pretends to call the dogs away, then digs into her pocket and brings out a plastic bag. This lady's problem seems to be she's so darned huge it's a 'challenge' for her to bend over and take care of the poo. That'd be too much like exercise.

Saw one outside our house years ago . Our street was normal 2 lane mostly grass with a sinle lane if tarmac up the middle.
A guy was letting his large dog poo on the grass bit when along came a ranger in his car, Was fun the ranger politely asked guy to pick up pooh Guy said he didnt have a plastic bag with him and would have to return. Ranger said that quite alright and that in the interim he would write out a $220. ticket. The guy used his handkerchief!!!

Dirty bstrd! I mind only too well the autumn day I came home from w*rk to an "unusual" aroma around the house. My elderly mum had picked up the then tiny Ms Rolo (about 5 at the time, from school). Clumps of what looked like mud all over our communal hall, that was a bad sign. But in the house........bejasus. All over the hall carpet, the floorboards in the living room but worst of all, all over the wean's bed where she'd perched to get changed into her pjs. EEEEEEEWWW! Turns out she'd been playing at kicking up the leaves on the road home. Clearly some disgusting dog-owner had 'secreted' the poo therein. FFS! Lemme say from the off I'm not some superwoman-mental-cleaning person. A 'wee' bit of dirt hurts nobody and I think over-sanitisation's not too great for the immune system. But that said-----animal shit carries toxoplasmosis and I admit I scrubbed the wean to within an inch of her life that night, threw out the bedding and shoes, and disinfected the carpets. Folks that let their pets shit on the pavements need to have it rubbed right back into their face, IMV. See how they like it!

True enough, Bormes. But isn't there a difference between cats and foxes, who tend to bury their doings in the soil--and dogs, who don't? I've never trod in fox or cat doings on my path or nearby pavement, they 'go' in folks' gardens. In fact it's clear a fox or two has been in about my rose plant in the pot outside. You expect to encounter that and I'm sure my Sunseeker will flourish this summer accordingly! It's hardly dogs' fault they shit all over public space. But I swear, the next time I see the bint from down the road that won't bend the length of herself to pick up her pets' detritus I might just pick it up and deposit it in her pocket. I don't let my kid shit on the pavement so what the FUCK goes on with folks whose pets can do no wrong?

They'l want to saddle him with a bill, if he takes any mare of it aff of the mane road. If he doesn't pony up there'll be neigh chance of any mare. He'll get tellt tae bolt
