* No "not want" doesnt really care but thinks its nice as one country however it is not our business its up to the Brits so what ever they decide it make no difference to us, unless wew need another visa.
Best stop comparing Australia to Scotland they are totally different cases you gave up self government in 1707 .
In Australia there were 6 self governing colonies that amalgamated in to a Commonwealth effective from 1st January 1901.
Take NSW as typical, or nearly so, of all 6 colonies In 1788 Philips (an Englishman) was appointed Governor of New Holland with full autocratic powers. Over the next 20 years it slowly evolved from a penal settlement into a wild and woolly colony. 1n 1810 Macquarie ( A Scot) arrived brought in law and order established courts and councils and limited self government. Westminster no longer had full control and were scared to use force coz they remembered USA. By late 1850s universal suffrage was brought in (NZ & SA beat us) and virtually full self government. In late 1880s the states decided to form a federation and after 12 years of getting it right it happened. It says something about these guys there has only been 2 amendments to the constitution.
There is no 'banking exodus' here. Certain banks have stated in their risk registers (which all companies are required to hold) that they will move registered offices to London from Scotland. EVERY SINGLE ONE of those banks have declared (not reported in MSM media) that jobs will be unaffected and they have no plans to RELOCATE.

NAB's new broom Andrew Thorburn probably had enough on his plate already and didn't really need to think of a Scottish independence vote this week.
A Yes vote is unequivocally bad news for NAB and its Scottish subsidiary Clydesdale, which may then become part of a nation that won't have the financial clout to back its outsized finance industry.
It might be forced to join the banking exodus to London. Whatever the outcome, a solution won't be cheap for NAB, which is itching to bury its offshore adventures.
"It's not in Scotland or England's interest to have a catastrophic outcome, if it is a yes vote," was the parting comment of Thorburn's recent predecessor Cameron Clyne.

That's an interesting view, Oz, that general feeling doesn't want UKE* to split. Given that Australia did just that because they too wanted a government that reflected the best interests of the Australian people.
