THANK YOU OUR FRIEND
With Scotland sending fifty percent of the new MP's to Westminster as Lassies, then maybe, just maybe Westminster might have a wee bit more balance and sense and LESS TESTOSTERONE?? Hope!!

I'm really pleased at the result in Scotland, but sort of terrified that now the Tories are in charge, without a need for coalition with anyone.
Mind, it certainly proves a point, eh? It is so commonplace for Labour people to whine that nobody should vote SNP or anything else, on the grounds that only Labour can get rid of the Tories.
But if EVERY seat in Scotland were Labour, it would not have made a difference to the fact that Scotland yet again ends up with a Tory government that we didn't vote for.
Oh well.

I must admit Miliband's voice always reminded me of a character out of the Muppets or was it Sesame Street

Bit of head scratching here ... Maybe something wrong with your system
UKIP 12.5% of vote = 1 seat
SNP 5% of vote = 56 seats
doesnt seem right somehow

WELL DONE Cheers m'dear ? I'm glad we won 56 out of the 59 seats, sure----but as Celyn says, the Tories have actually gained a small majority via voters in England. Had everyone in Scotland voted Labour, we would still have a Tory govt. Anyone with an IQ in double figures and a conscience is gutted at the prospect of another 5 years of Tory rule. We can guess what's coming, and its encapsulated in less than two minutes in this vid that Ms Rolo sent me earlier. Cameron Rap (contains sweary words..) www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YBumQHPAeUThe smug bstrds probably think they're home and dry. Aye, that'll be right enough. ?

SNP got 50% plus of the vote where they did. UKIP got nowhere near that in ANY constituency and their own leader was clearly deemed inelectable.
