I see UK is tightening Visa restrictions for Australian & New Zealand citizens yet again. Wonderful way to treat loyal friends. Dearie me, hopefully not too soon or I'm three guests down for my Hogmanay do! No its after the UK summer holidays. BTW if you see 5 bedraggled Ozzie kids 2 boys & 3 girls hanging around Ashton Lane thats my de-facto grandson-in-unlaw his brother 2 sisters and a gf on tour in UK staying 2 nights in Glasgow. My Grand daughter opted to visit her brother in Singapore ... wise girl!

They're in Holland tonight, having had a week in Northern Italy so they'll be well acclimatised to the Frozen North when they get here Sunday! They're honorary Scots, and hardy with it!

Grand daughter's bf and his family spent Christmas in "Santa Village" on the Arctic Circle in Finland. She was invited to go but decided it would be much better spending the festive season with her brother in Singapore. Of course being Xmas the phone (land line) broke down and wont be sorted till 29th However Telstra has redirected all call to my mobile and will pay for all outgoing calls at landline rate which I thought was decent of them considering the cost of mobile and landline calls are included in our deal.

One of my cousins lives in Stonehaven.... now isnt that interesting Stonehaven, ah the only other place in Scotland with a working public outside swimming pool, Gourock being the other one ( and the better one too, despite the best efforts of Inverclyde Coonsil ) Excellent chip shops in Stonehaven byraway
