Labour retain overall control of Glasgow City Council. Eck's ceremonial unicorn ride into George Sq has been cancelled. Sturgeon and Hunter posted missing. GETITRIGHTUPYE ! Blimey. How pathetic is this? Infantile, delusional fool. Screech like a banshee as much as you like, but London Labour is fucked, there is no Scottish Labour, and the union is finished. Nothing hides those facts.

WELL SAID YONZA. Absolutely true. First whisper for a while from stan, I wonder if he knows a creepy wee fiddle player that goes into the Ben Nevis, a friend of mine runs the pub, I've known her for years and she keeps telling me to pop in as there is some good wee music folksy nights, I've been down but the last time she was on holiday, I'm going to pop in when I return from France maybe a good place for a wee forum "swally"?? Great wee pub. However if fat "stan" shows up, I won't be staying. I'm picky about the company I keep, and I don't like hypocritical greasy creepy lying losers such as him, and his ilk.

At the moment, perhaps the doubters will not be so smug after the referendum?

At the moment, perhaps the doubters will not be so smug after the referendum? We'll see Bormes Another wee comment on local elections; I do wonder if folks don't vote more for the candidate than the party in these? Because you get to give preferential votes and not just one X in first past the post at national elections, I wonder if folks don't vote in a local councillor that's worthy. I did exactly that; one of my four preferences was a councillor not of my chosen party who'd sorted out---very fast---my request for a grit bin at the top, not half way down, our steep hill. Land Services dropped it off sharpish. There's also a Labour guy got back in in our ward, and fair enough, he's an efficient councillor that does much on local issues I think much greater national issues come into play at general elections.

Roly, him and I wish to come to SOFrance in Sept on our motorbikes, Mrs B not happy about this idea though. Speaking of him I know I wrote a wee bit before about the "gerbil" trial and I have to say I told you so !! The police are being savaged about the trial fiasco, correctly, however the real blame lies with the Procurators Dept, they refused to listen to police advice and went ahead with this trial without the other accused (they put out a press release saying they had applied for an International warrant for the arrest of the other accused, he promptly absconded from Marbella) There is even a police officer serving who ( for greed or otherwise) has given information to the Sunday Mail reporter writing this story. That is rich as HE had information regarding an accused and refused to give it to the police. I would like to see the person in the Procurators office who gave this info to the papers on trial, just like the policeman who is awaiting trial for giving the gangsters information. I hope he gets YEARS inside. The police are trying badly to catch these scum and he sells information to them, that is the lowest of low, as stan might say, "getitrightuphim."

Weird thing, Bormes Late last night (or possibly the night before, scuse my hangover...) there was a story on the BBC Scotland site saying the polis concerned had been sentenced to the jail. Yet just now, when I looked for the link to send you, the story's completely disappeared. WTF? Anyways, last night, we actually got huckled out of D's cab before we set off, cos the driver in front got a hire from a very drunk elderly couple (at 7pm!) to take em to Mar Hall---and he didnae know how to get there---so D got the big hire while we got left wi the guy who could only just find his way to St Vincent St
