Must have missed you, will have a pint with you next time. Do you take your camera in with you? I imagine you do, as I suspect it has grown as an extension of your hand by now !!

Actually it is a green white and orange flag the GCC kow tow to. However you are correct about the decision to allow the orange order to march, if they ban it they should also ban any ira catholic march too. Where are these marches?? I was born in Govan, much of my family is still there, and I've lived in Glasgow most of my life. I have never seen one of these "catholic marches", which is the standard response whenever anyone mentions banning orange walks in this city. What is there to ban? Where do they happen? When? Who's seen a green walk in Glasgow? Embdy?

The ira have sponsered many walks in Glasgow, mine is not an automatic shout because the orange order should be banned, I don't care for either, however I particularly detest the ira supporting scum that seem to live off Celtic, a good Scottish team, but to listen to some of the support one would think they had just come off the boat from Eire and been molested and Attacked by the Black and Tans. Sadly from the BBC showing bobby sands as some sort of freedom fighter instead of a mianipulated hate driven wee scumbag who bombed maimed and killed innocent people. That is the sort of support that has grown in Glasgow recently and I for one would be happy to see BOTH sides of the hate filled monkeys NOT having a platform to show off from and that includes the marches by BOTH sides. I am surprised at you who is so good at research Westy, not knowing how many F/F, ira inspired marches with the accompanying mayhem that Glasgow has seen. Unfortunately GCC is FULL of them and that is why we still have bigoted religous schools and the best thing to do with them is shut them and immediately it will bring down the temprature as weans being educated together brings down barriers it is the priests and parents who bring in their hate, kids are not born with a hate barrier or a colour barrier. It's the leaders of our society that bring it about.

Who's seen a green walk in Glasgow? Embdy? we have them regularly in Port Glasgow - the AOH (ancient order of the hibernian) have had a branch and social club in port glasgow for donkeys years - they have a rebel marching band there too - I know a few idiots who are in it. they are indeed idiots because they asked the local boys brigade pipe band if they could teach them how to play the drums

I just assumed, knowing how good you are at it, you had done some. there are half a dozen in the city Centre every year plus many towns have the Hibs marches, s/fein as well. f/fiall. All the same scum as the hateful ones on the opposite side too.

there are half a dozen in the city Centre every year If this is the case, I honestly have never heard of it. Are they a similar scale to the orange walks?

Well, probably not so many, also the orange walks have quite a number of passers bye stopping and letting their children watch the bands, they would say that the observers are all supporters when they most definately are not. Quite a number that go to the ira marches are to shout abuse not in support of them either.
