Beware propaganda! The Westminster Government's trying to points-score. Quelle surprise! We must keep asking ourselves why they are so desperate to keep us. ;D The Scots will decide on the question and the timing. Not orchestrated campaigns by the unionist Labour or Tory parties. End of! www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-17600791

With the english games coming along we will probably get a rest from the english mp's ranting about Scotland and our first minister. When all the hue and cry has died down they will start in earnest and if they win a few medals be sure they will use the medal winners in their propaganda telling us how we are stronger as Great Britain, extolling the benefits of the UK. I just wish those who sneer at the SNP and the idea of an independant Scotland could be sent to stay in England. It reminds me of all these clowns at a football game screaming venom about Eire and how they hate the UK Well why don't they go and stay in Eire, or the other clowns who scream venom about "their Queen" please keep her and go and stay in England, let the Scots get on with IMPROVING all the standards in OUR country and the way to do it , is vote SNP !!

The Economist magazine, that bastion of all things SE England, this week, finally admits; Scotland’s accounts of revenue and expenditure, based on Treasury data, show that it is not a ward of the state, grossly subsidised from Westminster. In fact it performs better than all regions outside the south-east of England, and has done particularly well in the past decade (see chart). In 2010-11 Scotland’s GDP was £145 billion ($225 billion) including a geographical share of North Sea oil and gas, around 10% of Britain’s, with 8.4% of the population. So listen ye not to the misguided amoebae who lie about us being subsidy junkies. It's simply a pretext on behalf of those who know fine well that we subsidise the UKE more than it does us Now given the above facts are based on only 10% geographical share of our oil and gas, imagine what we could do with the other 90%. ;D On this mid-April night, it is 1 degree centigrade and there's a sharp frost going on outside. Tis RIDICULOUS that people are scared to put the heating on when we have massive reserves of fuel on our doorstep. Let's take our resources, use em wisely for our benefit and well-being, and sell the excess to other countries. Establish a sovereign fund, (like Norway, which takes a percentage of oil revenues) and save up for our collective future. It's called quality of life.
